Asus at its Computex event announced a new lineup of laptops which will be going on sale in the future. And one of the interesting laptop to launch is the ZenBook 3 Deluxe, which the company claimed to be the world’s thinnest 14-inch laptop. The Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe is a sleek laptop that weighs just 2.4 pounds and measures about a half inch thick.
This notebook features an aluminum chassis which employs thin bezels to fit the 14″ NanoEdge display in what is said to be a 13″ footprint. The Zenbook 3 Deluxe also features a 1920x1080p display, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, two Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports with support for 40Gbps data transfers and dual 4K UHD external displays. Also a backlit keyboard with 1.2mm key travel, and a glass-covered touchpad with a fingerprint sensor for easy one-touch login with Windows Hello.
Under the Laptop, it is powered by 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor along with up to 16 gigabyte of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and a 1 terabyte PCIe SSD. It comes with Windows 10. The laptop also has a quad speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an array microphone along with support for the Microsoft Cortana voice recognition.
The company equipped this ZenBook 3 Deluxe with a 46 Wh battery that the Asus says that should provide up to nine hrs of battery life. A 65 watt USB Type-C power adapter comes with this laptop, and the comapany says that its fast charging technology lets you get a 60 % charge in just 49 minutes.
Prices start at $1,200 for the ZenBook 3 Deluxe, but there is no word yet on availability.
