A widely-known fashion clothing brand Emporio Armani said that it is launching its first hybrid connected watch – called the ‘EA Connected Watch’ – in partnership with Fossil. The new Emporio Armani Connected line of “hybrid smartwatches” aim to offer the amalgamation of stylish, classic, and expensive timepieces with the strapping of modern wearables, particularly that of keeping track of your activities.

Features:

Following in the footsteps of the Skagen Hagen Connected and Fossil Q54 Pilot smart analogue watch, the Android and iOS watches all offer an automatic time zone mode, the ability to set alarms, notification support, sleep and activity tracking powered by Misfit, the ability to control music playback and wirelessly taking photos with yours smartphone.

The Connected line all feature 22mm watch cases and are slapped with 3ATM water resistance ratings so they are splash resistant but not primed for the swimming pool. You will also spot the secondary progress dial to the quickly glance your activity tracking. There is a coin cell battery to keep them powered, so you will get months of power.

What makes it different from other watches is that this watch also includes another time zone that was added through the user poll and I guess why Armani’s customers are so simple to demand only a second-time zone?

The main highlight of this watch is the 6 months battery life it carries with it. The watch stays without any charge for 6 months intact as per the company claims. Thanks to the basic quartz batteries in it that makes this thing possible.

Price:

The watch is available in black, rose gold, gunmetal, and stainless steel with either a three-piece link or leather strap. The watch can be either ordered from Armani’s official website or can be bought hand to hand in Emporio Armani boutiques around the world, with prices starting at $250 for the basic model.
