First wearable device that utilize Spritz reading tech has now launched, namely UNO NOTEBAND. Its Spritz reading compression tech allows you to read up to 700 words a minute—five times faster than normal—with minimal effort.
Each word flashes up for a split second over the band’s 128 x 32 touch-enabled OLED display with maximum contrast, and can last up to five days on one single charge through its USB charging system.
This new Uno Noteband syncs all messages, alerts and notifications over platforms onto one convenient device for fast updates without having to access a smartphone. The free Uno Noteband app provides users to select which platforms they want to receive notifications from on their device. You can choose to receive alerts from incoming calls, text messages, calendar reminders, emails, Facebook, Twitter, Apple Health, Google Fit and more.
This new Noteband vibrates when an alert is received, and then displays the alert once the screen has been touched. The Uno Noteband is equipped with the world’s smallest 6-axis accelerometer that can track steps, sleep quality and calories, the device also has a highly advanced and accurate fitness component, making it dramatically more accurate than first-gen fitness trackers.
The Uno Notebank is build around the nRF51822a 32-bit ARM Cortex M0 CPU with 256kB flash plus 16kB RAM. The embedded 2.4GHz transceiver supports Bluetooth low energy as well as 2.3GHz operation. Also feature InvenSense MPU-6500 Six-Axis Gyroscope and Accelorometer with Embedded Digital motion processor 6-Axis Motion tracking provides fitness tracking data.
The Noteband is compatible with all the latest versions of both Android smartphones and iPhone. The Uno Noteband will launch in a sleek, all-black version, and will later be available in additional colors.
