Motorola has released a pair of affordable new Android handsets in India called MotoG4 and Moto G4 plus. The ‘Moto G4 Plus’ model, presumably being bigger and more powerful, will also feature the square fingerprint sensor on the chin.
Motorola’s more capable Moto G4 Plus packs 2GB RAM / 16 GB ROM & 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM , a fingerprint sensor and a 16 MP rear camera. In addition to more megapixels, the camera has other improvements over the one found on the regular Moto G model, like a f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and “big pixels.” OmniVision OV5693 sensor, 5MP front facing the camera with 1.4μm pixel size, 84d wide angle.
Apparently, the Moto G4 Plus’s camera is a big deal for Motorola, with the company spending considerable time during the latest event talking about it. DxOMark has already rated the Moto G Plus’s picture quality ahead of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
Like Moto G4, the new Moto G4 is also powered by Snapdragon 617 Up to 1.5 GHz Octa-Core (8x ARM Cortex A53), 28 nm LP CPU process technology and Qualcomm Adreno 405 GPU 550 MHz. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Additional features include Bluetooth and 4.1Wi-Fi Qualcomm VIVE 1-stream 802.11n/AC with MU-MIMO.
The new Moto G4 Plus powered 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Pol Battery. Motorola Turbo Charging Aka Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 its 15 Minutes of charging will give 6 hours of usage. It is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Fluence HD noise cancellation technology will give you excellent audio.
The Moto G4 Plus will be available to buy in India, through exclusively on Amazon.in. The 16 GB/2 GB Moto G4 Plus model will cost about $200(13,499 INR) while the 32 GB/3 GB G4 Plus variant will cost about $225 (14,999 INR).
